Sharmax Motors is a business offering a range of vehicles and related services. The company offers motorcycles, buggies, quad bikes, and golf carts. As a motorcycle shop and dealer, they provide sales and potentially maintenance for motorcycles. They also function as an ATV dealer, offering all-terrain vehicles. Their services extend to being a boat dealer, suggesting the sale of watercraft. Furthermore, they are a golf cart dealer, providing these vehicles for various uses. The mention of an off-road race track business indicates they may also offer access to or services related to off-road riding facilities.
Overall Customer Sentiment:
Based on the provided reviews and the overall average rating of 4.3 out of 5 from 429 reviews, customer sentiment appears to be mixed, leaning towards positive in sales interactions but significantly negative regarding after-sales service and maintenance. While initial purchase experiences are often praised, the subsequent support and reliability of the products and services are major areas of concern.
Service Quality:
Sales experiences are frequently highlighted as positive, with specific employees like Allie and Yazid receiving commendation for their helpfulness, knowledge, and professionalism. The purchasing process is often described as smooth and efficient. However, the quality of maintenance and repair services is consistently criticized. Issues include unjustified delays, poor workmanship (e.g., using used parts), lack of communication, and difficulty reaching staff or management.
Common Themes:
Recurring positive themes include helpful and knowledgeable sales staff, good initial pricing, and a smooth buying process. Conversely, significant negative themes revolve around prolonged service times, poor communication from the service department, unresolved issues with bikes (even under warranty), concerns about product quality and durability (especially for commercial use), and difficulty obtaining promised information or parts. The discrepancy between sales and after-sales service is a prominent pattern.
Final Assessment:
Sharmax appears to excel in the initial sales phase, providing a positive and supportive experience for customers purchasing vehicles. However, the business struggles significantly with delivering reliable and timely after-sales service and maintenance. The numerous complaints regarding delays, poor communication, and unresolved technical issues raise serious concerns about the long-term value and support offered. While the average rating suggests a generally positive perception, the detailed negative reviews highlight critical weaknesses in operational efficiency and customer care post-sale. Potential customers should weigh the positive sales experiences against the documented challenges in service and support when making a purchasing decision.
Good morning, Sharmax Service! Today, I had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Shaima and Marvin. They were incredibly helpful and friendly. I got my bike serviced quickly at a great price. Thank you, Shaima
I bought a 450 Enduro bike from Yazid and it was a really good experience. 5/5 for good prices and amazing service. Highly recommended š
I had the best experience working with Allie to buy my new bike! From the moment I mentioned I was in the market, he was incredibly helpful asking the right questions, offering great suggestions, and really taking the time to understand what I needed. His knowledge about different models, features, and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. I genuinely felt like he cared about helping me find the perfect fit. Thanks to Allie, Iām now cruising around on a bike I love. Couldnāt have done it without him Thankyou Sharmax..
I purchased a bike from Sharmax Cross (150cc) and handed it over for maintenance on 7/1/2025 . However, I faced numerous issues that made the experience extremely disappointing:
1. Unjustified Delays:
The maintenance process took a full month, which is an unreasonably long time for the type of service required.
2. Poor Quality of Work:
The front ring was replaced due to a damaged bearing, but to my surprise, they installed a **used brake lever**! This shows a lack of attention to the quality of parts used and a lack of professionalism in their work.
3. Handling of My Requests:
I requested the return of the tire and the old ring after the maintenance was completed, but they delayed handing them over for week and kept stalling in responding to my calls and inquiries.
4. Employee Behavior (Shaimaa):
Unfortunately, the employee, Shaimaa, dealt with the situation dishonestly. She made false promises and ignored my requests, which worsened the experience and left me feeling extremely frustrated.
5. Current Situation:
To this day, I still have not received my bike after all this time! I demand the return of the new ring and tire that were installed, and I also request a refund of the amount I paid due to the poor service and failure to adhere to agreements.
The maintenance service was far below expectations, and customer service was extremely poor. I advise everyone to think carefully before dealing with this agency, especially when it comes to maintenance.
I purchased my first bike from them, and the experience was nothing short of excellent. Yazid was an amazing and supportive sales rep and he has great passion and knowledge about bikes. He made the whole process smoother, facilitating the selection, test drive, and registration seamlessly. Even after the sale, his attention to detail was amazing and he was very helpful with any questions or concerns I had about the bike. As for the bike itself, itās fantastic. The driving comfort and style are on par with other big names in the industry, and even better in some aspects. I would highly recommend their brand and hope they achieve further success in the UAE bike market.
I recently purchased my RST 250 Competition from Yazeed, and I couldnāt be happier with the experience! From the moment I walked in, he was incredibly helpful, patient, and professional. Since I was new to motorcycles, he took the time to explain everything in detail, answer all my questions, and even brought out a few bikes for me to try. The buying process was smooth and fast, with clear communication throughout. Yazeed kept me updated at every step and made sure everything was handled perfectly, from the paperwork to the final delivery. His customer service was top-notch, and he truly went the extra mile to make sure I got the best deal possible. If youāre looking for a trustworthy and professional dealer, I highly recommend Yazeed! Thanks again for making this such a great experience! š¤š¼
The worst experience i have ever faced with a dealership of any kind. Bought 2 motorcycles for my delivery company and both bikes broke down within 3 months. Itās been over a month now and no update. The bigger problem is that nobody answers the phone over at that place! Not the salesman, not the maintenance department, not the customer service line.
I definitely dont recommend using this brand specially for commercial use.
Updated Review for Sharmax (Part 2)
āThis is an updated version of my previous review, as I didnāt include all the details earlier.
I bought a Sharmax bike because they claimed it was a 300cc model. However, while inspecting the bike, I noticed a 250cc badge on it. When I asked them about this, they told me it had been āupgradedā to 300cc. The manager, Imran, personally confirmed this information to me. I asked him for proof of the upgrade, and he assured me he would provide it. That was back in October, and since then, he has never called me back or provided any evidence.
To make things worse, since I posted my first review, Sharmax hasnāt contacted me at all. Despite my efforts to raise my concerns and ask for a resolution, theyāve completely ignored me. This is surprising because most companies try to protect their reputation by addressing customer complaints, but Sharmax hasnāt made any attempt to fix the situation.
As for the bike itself, the performance has been disappointing. When I took the bike for its first service at their workshop in Dubai, I specifically asked them to clean the carburetor and the air intake filter. However, it seems like they never actually did this. Sometimes, when Iām driving and release the throttle after speeding up, the bike randomly shuts off as if itās losing power or spark. This is frustrating and unsafe.
Additionally, the rear brake was broken when I received the bikeāit didnāt work at all. This is a major safety issue that should have been addressed before the bike was sold.
Even when cruising in the desert on flat terrain or areas with small slopes and turnsāwhere any typical bike would perform fineāthis bike struggles. I often have to give full throttle just to barely reach 50 km/h. For a bike thatās supposedly 300cc, this kind of performance is unacceptable.
Also, my cousin bought a bike from Sharmax and had an even worse experience. After just a couple of days, he wanted to return it and was within his rights to do so as it was a recent purchase. However, Sharmax refused, offering excuses and trying to avoid responsibility. It wasnāt until my cousin mentioned that he had a lawyer in the family, and a legal letter was sent to them, that Sharmax even started to take it seriously. Even then, they only tried to deflect and delay further action.
To anyone considering buying from Sharmax, Iād strongly advise caution. Verify their claims and test the bike thoroughly before making a purchase. My experience has shown that their products donāt live up to their advertising, and their after-sales service is unreliable.ā
Very bad experience with what they are calling "service center", their service is terrible! I got a problem with My bike , I sent it to them ( Dubai branch ) because I'm in Abudhabi . My bike already under warranty to solve the problem..the bike with them since a month , and they're careless. First, they said nothing was wrong, then it was the engine, then they changed the diagnosis result to exhaust problem. After that they ignored my phones for a week even the what'sapp they are not answering , I got shocked when they used my bike as background in an Instagram story talking about their "professional" service!!! I've called more than 8 times after the story that I saw with no answer, then they said the parts were ordered, then blamed other customers for the delay because they were busy with other bikes . I can't even reach the management to complain ! It's been a month, and I still don't know what's wrong with my bike or any single clear information about it or When am I getting my bike back?!!! (( since a month we will update you soon then again no answer ))
Worst service and maintenance.
I have gl250 till the date i bought it they promised to change the faulty meter on bike but still no clue about replacements.
The the service booking and handling time is unexpectedly long. I use my bike everyday so how i am able to keep the bike in service center do 2 weeks do such a small thing.
They don't have proper service and boasting that they very competitive in market.
All the ratings that they have are asked by the agent when they Sale bike. Once the sale is went through then come the hopeless service. Really disappointed to buy this brand. Their parts wear fast and so many issue is new bikes like engine are always damaged. I saw lots of new bikes in their service center where engines came damages within first 6 months. I wish I had spend my money on more established brands like honda, tvs, susuki, bajaj
