Best recommended garage in UAE I've visited many garages before in Dubai/Sharjah and paid a lot without satisfaction, until finally I was referred by 2 friends to Radical Custom and jackpot found what I exactly needs: - friendly environment - professional advice on every part - Extremely professional and very knowledgeable especially in OFFROAD. - simply they understand what the car needs :) - Affordable price 👌 Conclusion: they know what they are doing and I'm extremely satisfied

I was sold because they kept saying their a garage that thrives on solutions to offroad and overland builds

Keep in mind the car had just done an engine rebuild and was working perfectly at the time of dropping it.

The custom gull wings negate the insulation job since it leaked water inside and the noise level is near to an open window.

My story with the garage,

I handed the car in late January 2024

Extensive job list
- custom front bumper
- changing color paint job( inside & out)
- custom roof rack w/ awning & shower tent
- full insulation
- gull wings rear window
- repainting the car exterior floor
- 2 drawers installation
- custom water tank w/ filteration

This was a project car the garage promised to deliver in 3 months, unfortunate weather conditions like the heavy rain pushed back for a few weeks

After 5 months the car was still not done.

6 months in all the fabrication and exterior is done

It took over 2 months to finish the electrical work ( 1 dc charger , 100Ah battery, inverter )

After a whole month of near daily visits to the garage, pushing by hiring outside contractors ( paid by myself) to build the water system that was promised to be handled by the garage.

Ultimately the car was delivered a mess mechanically and interior wise.

swapped 3 used alternators with them, still wasnt fixed. ( remember 2 months for electrical work)

Overheating engine, they “serviced the radiator” and put it back, issue wasnt fixed.

Keep in mind im open to upgrading anything, yet the garage had asked me to get the parts used parts while they test and trailed, ultimately im paying for parts delivered from and to sharjah.

They didnt apply for clearance to paint the car through the dubai police app and i ended up paying 800AED fine

I ended up re doing all the electrical wiring at another shop because the car would drain itself constantly with new batteries and the whole dual battery system wasnt protected ( running direct to the makn battery without a breaker/fuse)

I really could type alot of examples on how theyre

1/ incompetent
2/ unprofessional
3/ predatory business
4/ betrayal of trust

Ultimately writing this review to prevent anyone having to go through what i went through

Im pretty sure i have grounds for legal action to be taken, so i advise the management to not deny without providing proof that would contradict what i presented.

Definitely fake reviews. The arrogance on the phone and lack of transparency on the costs for a specific service that other garages told straight away (if you do not know how much you charge for a requested service, it is disturbing) tell you they want to see your face first on how much they can charge you.

Great place to restore or upgrade your car. Great knowledge about off road vehicles. I did some Engine work, suspension, paint job and interior. The quality is way better than any garage I've been to in Dubai for the last 8 years.

I'm doing a complete restoration and upgrade of my 1975 Volvo c303, installing AC, auxiliary 12v leisure system with inverter and 200amp batteries, audio system, molle panels, electronic distributor, air compressor, painting, etc... and I'm impressed with the quality of the work, the planning with 3d software, the design skills, the clean execution and the competency of the staff. Highly recommended!
