Customer Sentiment:
Overall customer sentiment appears mixed, leaning towards positive based on the high average rating (4.7/5) and large number of total reviews (522). However, the provided sample reviews reveal significant negative experiences alongside positive ones.
Service Quality:
Positive reviews highlight helpful, knowledgeable, patient, and professional staff, particularly regarding accessories, gear, and modifications. The availability of a wide selection and customization options is also praised. Conversely, negative feedback points to issues with staff attitude (rude, busy, unwelcoming), lack of follow-up on inquiries, and perceived judgment of customers based on appearance or budget. A notable negative experience details poor advice on product fit and an unhelpful response to a subsequent issue.
Common Themes:
Recurring positive themes include the extensive range of products, knowledgeable staff in certain interactions, and quality of modification work. Negative themes consistently revolve around poor customer service interactions, including unresponsiveness, perceived rudeness, and a lack of willingness to assist or provide solutions in some instances. Pricing is mentioned as high in both positive and negative contexts, suggesting a premium offering.
Final Assessment:
While the high average rating and large volume of reviews suggest a generally positive customer base, the provided sample indicates inconsistencies in service quality. The business appears to excel in product selection and technical services like modifications. However, significant weaknesses exist in customer interaction and responsiveness, which can lead to highly negative experiences for some individuals. The business delivers high-quality products and services in some areas but needs to address customer service issues to ensure a consistently reliable and positive experience for all patrons.
For all best branded motorcycle accessories and riding gear, this is the best place in UAE. The staff are really helpful and are very knowledgeable. They let us try each and every item that we wanted and were patient enough for us to decide. I love the freedom you get when you enter this place. They do customisation, too. There is a cafe overlooking the autodrome track on the mezzanine floor. I personally have bought many items from this place and have had great experiences on my every visit. All the best to the team, cheers!!!
Greedy people, Guys don’t go there they will screw you. They even don’t deserve for one star.
Very expensive and rude staff.
Khalas no oldtimer anymore
I contacted them from Qatar about SW Motech parts, using both email and WhatsApp. They asked for details, which I provided immediately, but it’s been two weeks and I haven’t heard anything from them. While I waited, I contacted SW Motech directly and my parts actually arrived from Germany before Oldtimer could be bothered to even update me about my inquiry. Unsatisfactory customer service.
I recently visited OLD-TIMER shop, and I'm beyond impressed with their extensive selection and comprehensive services. From top-notch gear to a diverse range of motorcycles, they truly offer everything a rider could dream of. The staff's expertise and friendly demeanor added to the overall positive experience. This shop is a rider's haven, ensuring you find not just what you need, but also a community that shares your passion for the open road. Highly recommended for any motorcycle enthusiast.
I've recently started my riding journey and decided to trust Old Timer Motorcycles advice for my beginner kit. Although they are certainly premium priced, I decided to go with their suggestions, as I don't know much better, they are the experts after all! So I bought a helmet, jacket, and gloves they suggested.
I went for my first practical riding lessons the next day where the instructor said my helmet was too big, and RTA will fail me for using safety kit that doesn't fit. So the next day I phoned Old Timer Motorcycles with my problem.
The call was answered by the french/ italian gent I'd met on the weekend who already had smart comments then. When I told him that the helmet was too big and I bought it based on their advice of it fitting correctly, his response was "haha, the helmet is the responsibility of the rider." When I said "Well how was I supposed to know how it's supposed to fit, surely you guys understand I was counting on your advice for what it's supposed to fit like?" his response was "sure but you tried on other helmets, no?" to which I responded "yes but that doesn't mean that I know how it was supposed to fit?"
Now I know it's unusual for a shop to take back a helmet after all the research I did after the comment by the instructor, but they offered no solution or understanding of my frustration after having spent AED 2236 on a helmet they suggested that I can't go through my license with and is unsafe.
P.s. Please don't comment "reach out and we will assist" as I have reached out for your assistance in this regard and was completely disappointed by your response.

Large show room, many options to choose from. Excellent salesmen Mr. Murad, one of the best. Purchase experience, if you spend 1 aed or 10k aed is still the same. Don’t expect discount
Staff is always too busy to assist - don’t have a welcoming vibe at all. Additionally, prices are higher than usual.
these guys i understand that they dont want to sell when enquired for the price
as they judge people by its book cover saying that its way out of your budget i dont understand how could they make such a communication to a customer who has an expensive bike bmw 1600. i regret that i had called them to enquire
They did an amazing Job on my S1000RR. I will highly recommended them for all your bike modifications. Professional, Skillsmanship, friendly and super flexible on cutting a good value deal.
