Overall Customer Sentiment:
Based on the provided reviews and the high average rating of 4.9 out of 5 from 448 reviews, the overall customer sentiment for Minutes, Springs Souk appears largely positive. Many customers express satisfaction with the efficiency and friendliness of the staff, particularly highlighting specific employees for their helpfulness and patience. Services like watch repair and bag repair received positive feedback for speed and quality.
Service Quality:
While many customers report positive experiences with the quality and speed of repairs, there are notable instances of dissatisfaction. Issues raised include questionable pricing policies for seemingly identical services (watch battery replacement), loss of customer items during repair (designer shoe bow), and concerns regarding the quality and warranty of replacement parts (phone screen). These negative reviews suggest inconsistency in service delivery and after-sales support.
Common Themes:
Recurring positive themes include efficient service, friendly and helpful staff, and quick turnaround times for certain repairs. Conversely, negative themes center around pricing transparency and justification, issues with lost items, and concerns about the quality and warranty of replacement parts, particularly for electronic repairs. The "company policy" is cited in both positive (staff adherence) and negative (pricing justification, warranty limitations) contexts.
Final Assessment:
Minutes, Springs Souk generally appears to provide a positive customer experience, supported by a high average rating and numerous positive reviews highlighting efficient and friendly service. However, the negative feedback, though representing a smaller portion of the total reviews, points to potential areas for improvement, specifically regarding pricing consistency, handling of customer items, and the quality and warranty of replacement parts. While many customers receive high-quality and reliable service, the inconsistencies noted in some reviews suggest that the business may not consistently deliver on these aspects across all service types.
Amazing Service! They've restored colour of my cream leather ankle boots spoild by me trying to clean dark spots with neutral cream. Minutes' staff left me speechless! My boots are as new ones! Highly recommend their service!
DO NOT GO! Terrible service, I replaced the broken screen of my phone and two months later the screen IS NOT WORKING ANYMORE. I went back to the shop and the staff said they won’t repair it because the company policy doesn’t cover it. I now doubt the quality of the product they sold to me and besides the poor after sales policy. Just DO NOT USE IT!
Answering to your reply, no one ever actually apologized to me when I was at the shop, and if that was the best service that your company can provide than it is just a confirmation that the quality of the service is really poor. In my case, the device has no defect at all! I took it to another shop and the screen was replaced for a new one of a good quality (as your shop should have done) and the device is working fine so far. A thorough evaluation and investigation was performed and confirmed that the device was perfectly ok, the only problem was the defective screen, the one your company installed. Serious reasons make me believe that a defective screen was installed by your shop on my device. Your warranty was valid for only three months, while the one from the other shop is valid for one full year on a cheaper price! The other company apart from sending me the warranty certificate by email still keeps it on their system so even if I loose the my copy of it they would track it and provide me the agreed warranty! Plus what kind of “warranty policy”is this one that your shop provides that doesn’t cover product defects? The device worked perfectly with a new screen so the defect is clearly from the product sold. You don’t need to thank me, as I am really disappointed and dissatisfied with the service provided
Horrible experience at Minutes Spring Souk branch! Such bad customer service! Never give them anything valuable! Gave them my designer shoe to repair as the bow had come off and only needed gluing. They lost the bow. Been 2 weeks now and they haven’t found my bow or offered compensation. The shoes cannot be worn without the bow. Avoid Spring Souk branch.
I came to change the batteries of two watches; one Swatch and one Tissot.
The surprise came when I have been quoted the prices: 41 aed for the Swatch and 70 AED for the Tissot. I asked why, as they seem to be using the same battery. The answer was: “company policy” and indeed in the price sheet that I have been shown, the Tissot was price higher.
I add here the pictures of the original batteries and I would love a reasonable explanation in why one is priced higher than the other (excluding the price of the watch himself) as the battery is exactly the same, in both cases you need to open and close via two movements and there is no added service to the Tissot (like cleaning or whatever).
It’s not about 29 aed but a weird practice that seems completely unfair to the customer.
The staff was as helpful as they could though, and I thank them for the service. This review is towards the company policy, which to me as a consumer and their customer makes ZERO sense.

I had a great experience at Minutes, Springs Souk—all thanks to Mr Anas. He was extremely patient and efficient, and supported with fixing the finicky chain of my watch. He kept adjusting it repeatedly till I was happy with it. Many thanks to him, and I'll surely visit again for future fixes.

Super expensive everything -
1. They tried to sell me not-original battery for iPhone 6 with replacement for almost 200 while official repair center charged me 150 for original spare parts with replacement
2. They just sell 4 pax maxell batteries for 20 while you can buy 10pax from Noon for 9.95..
Stay away this brand unless you have lots of money to waste ..
Useless!
Got a package from DHL which I had to pick up from Minutes, pay AED294 and not get a receipt!
Ajay Kumar at Minutes Souq wouldn’t bother to put some effort to get me a receipt. I asked for email, paper, sms…anything but really didn’t care and said it was not possible
Zero customer focus, zero value, bad service and high prices…
They better close their shops and leave room to other shops people can actually use
