I bought SAMSUNG TV QOLED and after 14 month I had issues and the screen is not working at all.. I contacted the dealer and Samsung and they told me it is out of warranty and asked for 1900AED for the repair, the technician asked for some
photos and videos on WhatsApp then he gave me the repair price, I bought a new TV after that then I tried to go to outside the market and they repaired the TV with 350AED Only... The funny thing all that series has factory defects and it is discounted .
Not a good why to deal with customers
I had a great experience with Mr. Darwin when choosing my home appliances. He was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, especially when advising me on the right sizes to select for my space. What stood out the most was his follow-up — even after the appliances were delivered and installed, he continued to check in and make sure everything was going smoothly. Truly excellent service and highly appreciated!
I had an extremely disappointing experience with Jumbo Electronics at The Galleria, Al Maryah Island. I bought an iPhone from this store and, at the insistence of the sales team, also purchased AppleCare based on their strong recommendations and all the benefits they claimed it would offer. They convinced me it was worth the investment, but when it came time to actually use the AppleCare service, the entire experience was a nightmare.
For starters, trying to get updates on my case was incredibly frustrating. The hotline they provided was virtually useless—nobody ever picks up. Each time, I ended up having to contact their main customer service line just to get someone to follow up with me, and it was only after I reached out that they would finally give me an update. Even when they promised I would receive an update within a few days, I still had to chase them down for information. Apple had even emailed them requesting additional documents for further verification, but Jumbo didn’t bother to follow up. If I hadn’t called the main customer service again, they wouldn't have checked their email at all.
When I finally decided to go to the store in person, hoping for better assistance, things only got worse. I approached a staff member named Kareem, who was supposed to help me with my case. However, he was incredibly rude and dismissive. When I asked him why they hadn't been checking emails and who was responsible for following up on customer cases and what is his job there, his response was shockingly unprofessional. He said it was “none of my business” and refused to provide any details about who was in charge. The entire interaction was not only frustrating but also insulting.
Kareem’s attitude and lack of basic customer service skills left me appalled. I expect a higher standard of service from a brand like Jumbo, especially when it involves such an expensive purchase and an additional AppleCare plan that they encouraged me to buy. This experience has seriously damaged my trust in Jumbo Electronics, and I will think twice before making any future purchases with them.
I recently purchased two headsets from jumbo electronics shop in galaria mall(198dhs in total) , and unfortunately, both headsets have been problematic. They intermittently stop working, requiring me to plug and unplug them repeatedly to get any sound. Despite the shop’s promise to exchange faulty products, they refused to honor this because the boxes were already opened.
The customer service experience was equally disappointing. The representatives I interacted with, an Indian gentleman and an Egyptian gentleman, were unprofessional and unapproachable. Their lack of assistance and unwillingness to resolve the issue has left me extremely frustrated.
I would not recommend this jumbo electronics shop to anyone looking for reliable products and good customer service.
I recently visited the Jumbo Electronics store in Galleria Mall to buy EarPods and was extremely disappointed by the service I received. One of the staff members, a Filipino employee, behaved in a manner that left me feeling insulted. When I asked for alternative options, she rudely threw a gadget on the table and left without attending to me further. This level of unprofessionalism was unexpected, especially from a company as reputable as Jumbo. It was the worst experience I’ve had at a store known for quality customer service. I hope they address this issue to maintain their standards..
I think this shop is used to receiving bad reviews and I can see why. I purchased about AED 30k of goods from them since July 2024. This includes a laptop for AED 14k. I also purchased the Jumbo Slama warranty for accidental damage. The laptop was defective and falling apart after 3 months. I returned to the shop. They told me they have to send it to the manufacturer (Microsoft) for a replacement. A week later they told me the Microsoft cannot replace it. For almost a month now the laptop is sitting at their shop, no clarity of whether they will repair or replace. Obviously I have to take further action. I'm not sure I can update this post accordingly. Avoid this shop at all costs. Not only do they sell defective products, but customer service is only there to make quick sales. If they have to give any other service, their priority is to mislead customers as much as possible.
I visited Jumbo this evening. Angel helped me. She is wonderful and very helpful. I am very happy dealing with her. She encouraged me to use this particular branch because of her services. I will recommend Jumbo to all my friends.
