**"Poor Service and Overcharging – Avoid This Garage"**

I had a terrible experience with Almelhem Auto Service. I brought my car in for a major service and to address a recurring alarming issue. They charged me 5,800 dirhams for the service, but the alarm problem wasn't fixed. The car continued to alarm every 10 minutes at night, which was not only inconvenient but also embarrassing in front of my neighbors.

I gave the car back for the second week, hoping the issue would be resolved, but it wasn’t. By the third week, they claimed I needed to pay an additional 290 dirhams to replace a cable. However, when I received the invoice, it was 680 dirhams. I tried to escalate the issue, messaging the garage manager Joe, who assured me the GM manager would call me, but I never received a call.

This garage seems more focused on overcharging than fixing problems. I do not recommend Almelhem Auto Service; they are unprofessional and unreliable.

After a recommendation asked a simple question. Can you quote some LR engine/gearbox work. Had to repeatedly chase for two weeks only to go there in person and find out they cannot. Be professional. Pick up the phone and call your customers back. Not difficult.

After they replaced fuel pipes and did regular service and I assume they did computer test , a series of faults starts to develop , not after a month, only the next few days !! :
First of all engine noise on acceleration ,
When I return the car to them the next week They said , no serious issues , only engine noise ( really ?! ) and you can drive safely and come back next week .. they didn’t even test the car professionally ! and only few days back they charged me a lot due to fuel pipe change and service plus air and ac filters change .
Of course I didn’t come back to Al Melhem workshop in Dubai
, instead i went to a trusted service center where they fixed all problems ( broken Fuel pump replacement , misfires , fuel injector damage)
In conclusion : I don’t trust Al Melhem anymore.

Better place to do anything to Range Rovers,Land Rovers,Defenders and all other europe and american brands.They offer you the best guarantee for any repair and they have all genuine parts if you need.Highly Recommended

Highly recommend garage as it is very clean and the job has been done ro my car is cwry satisfying. Price is very reasonable.

I brought my car for service and pointed out few issues in order for them to replace and solve. It took them two days to call me at the end to tell me the same issues i pointed out and to tell me that they dont have the equipments to replace and test batteries! … this is not all i have been charged for checking the issue i pointed out in the beginning that they also could not solve at the end. And i wasted two days that i could have used in repairing these issues somewhere else. If they have told me from the beginning that such issues could not be solved there i would have been happy and would not bother asking them to check it from the start but they only told me at the end of the second day.

I had a good experience a few months ago with a full service; however, not so this time. I'd had a niggling slow leak in the coolant. They gave me a couple of quotes (wanted to replace 15 parts) but i wanted to get a second opinion. They refused to give the car back unless it was collected by a trailer, and then sprung a surprise 'inspection' invoice before I could collect it. Grubby

My car was making some noises and I didn't know what was wrong, so I took it to Al Melhem Garage. They diagnosed the problem, which was that the breaks needed to be replaced and the car needed to be serviced. I wasn't expecting this level of service, but they offered me free pick-up and delivery and finished my car before the end of the day. I highly recommend them. Thank you Almelhem team.
