I had a very disappointing and frustrating experience at Al Ghandi Auto Service today. I brought my car in for heating issues, and they told me that the thermostat was faulty and needed replacing. The next day, I received an outrageously expensive quote of 5400 AED. I was shocked, considering the price of the thermostat part is nowhere near that amount.
I decided to visit the service shop to get some clarity on how they arrived at this pricing. When I asked for a breakdown of the quote, they refused to provide any details. I then went to the spare parts department within the same workshop, and to my surprise, I found that the actual price for the thermostat part was only 1000 AED. It became clear that the quotation was padded with inflated, fake prices.
I approached the manager, Mahmoud Owais, to address my concerns, I asked how the price could jump from 1000 AED to 5400 AED.
He initially offered me a 1000 AED discount, which seemed to confirm that the pricing was arbitrary and inflated. I refused this offer, and then he bumped the discount to 1500 AED, but that still didn't make any sense given the actual cost of the parts.and he was incredibly rude and dismissive. He falsely claimed that the high cost was due to 12 hours of labor, but his attitude was sarcastic, unprofessional, and far from helpful. It’s clear that they were trying to take advantage of me with inflated charges and dishonest practices.
I would not recommend this service to anyone. My experience was not only frustrating but also a clear example of poor customer service and unethical pricing. Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere for better transparency and professionalism.
I recently visited the Al Ghandi Auto showroom service center in Sharjah, and I had the pleasure of being assisted by Kristle. She is incredibly professional, welcoming, and truly a charming person. Kristle provided all the necessary information clearly, in great detail, and offered helpful options without any pressure. Her approach made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. It’s rare to come across someone so dedicated to excellent customer service. A big thank you to Kristle for making my car service experience such a positive one!
My car (GMC terrain) was serviced by Al Ghandi Auto Service Sharjah yesterday for 30K kilometers. When I received it, it was not cleaned, so I contacted the service consultant(Abdelaziz khalid khal ), who stated that he was not liable. Very unprofessional approach from his side.
My first service experience was extremely smooth and swift. I came in late but still the staff was very accommodating. Mr. Imran Ali went out of his way to get my service done. Overall the experience was very satisfying.
Positives - The office staff are commendable, and gives good service, but not sure about the service consultant.
Negatives - The vehicle delivery time after service leaves much to be desired. It took over 14 days to get my car back for an issue, despite continuous daily follow-ups. Very difficult to get through to the service consultant. Multiple unsnswered calls, whatsapp chats etc etc ..
I was offered a spare car after escalating the matter, but I didn't opt for it as I was asked to pay 2000 AED in cash, which was to be refunded after a month.
When I finally received my car, it was worse. The backseat appeared to have been used by a cat, as there were paw prints all over and it seemed like the cat had been resting there. It's concerning how they allowed this to happen. Additionally, a part of the backseat was broken and placed in the front without being fixed. That too after collecting almost 3000 AED for the service. This represents really poor service which needs to be looked upon seriously...

VERY VERY BAD SERVICE,15 days ago i did my GMC 2nd service ,and i told them there is problem in break making bad sound ,first service also i told them ,and 2nd service it was free service also but they charge me 1790 Aed for nothing .if you guys wanna check my details u can check in your system ,My Name is juma alshamsi ,CAR NO # AJM A 74000.

Worse ever service center without customer service and ignorance - left my car for a service and over a week without feedback - reached the manger in charge Mahmood and couldn’t get immediate answer and he kept ignoring my calls and the famous after 5 minutes call back never happened - worst service center
