Bought two cycles from them. Brake squeaks and they recommend home remedies. Terrible after purchase experience despite the promise of 6 month free service.
EDIT: I bought the cycle on 13th May, 2023. I have used it on three rides. I have not sprayed or applied any oil yet. If the brakes are squeaking from day 1, this must be because the pads are contaminated by something sprayed on while the cycle was on display at the store. If your sales guy thinks this due to dust, I fully expect him to fix the problem and prove his hypothesis. It is unacceptable for a cycle store to not have brake cleaner. As a service center, he cannot ask me to wash it at home to fix ths problem. What is the point of driving 30 kms for this advice. I called you the previous day and described the problem to him following which he asked me to bring the bike in for service. So, I do not think my comment is unfair.
I bought an adult sunspeed Astro Sora for 2500aed and the main crank bolt broke after a few rides. I checked but this store doesnt sell spare parts for the bikes or brands they sell. Instead of trying to meet their customers needs they attack with replies that are not even correct. I look forward to seeing this company close in the future.
I ordered through their website and paid through card. It was a fast, easy, and secure transaction. Got the bike within 24 hours in excellent condition despite having it delivered from Dubai to Abu Dhabi without any extra shipping fee. The shop even gave me a free bottle cage. Will definitely recommend to buy from this shop.
I recently visited to purchase a bicycle after seeing their attractive offers on the website, but my experience was highly disappointing due to the abysmal customer service. It felt like the staff were not happy to have customers in the store, even people who were walking by are looking to see what’s wrong this made feel uncomfortable. Their mistreatment and disrespectful behavior made the entire experience frustrating, as if they were deliberately testing my patience. Staff that I went just wanted me gone to watch the cricket match on their phone that’s what I felt.
Despite the shop looking nice and well-stocked, the poor service overshadowed any positive aspects. I repeatedly asked questions about the bike sizes, but I didn't receive a single helpful response. Instead, the staff only told me what they wanted, ignoring my specific concerns. This lack of assistance and courtesy is unacceptable, and it made me regret my visit. What's the point of having a great selection if the service is this terrible?
one of the best bike shops in Dubai to visit. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Buying a bike is a process and not one time thing. I am very grateful to the staff at this store. Highly recommend this shop for getting your new bikes. Carl is an amazing salesperson and knowledgeable.
Really nice store located in the Dragon Mart 2 hall where the parking is. A lot of people don’t know this area and Upten has a great opportunity for all cyclist. A lot of bikes directly available and the prices are really good. The Webshop is perfect too for a fast overview and they offer free delivery. All in one store with service and after sales. I like it!
Thanks to real customer service! I initially gave UAE Cycle/Upten a 1-star rating and posted negative reviews on both Google and Facebook due to a very disappointing experience with one of their staff members. I felt let down, unheard, and frustrated. However, everything changed when Mr. Carl Vincent Fallaria, from UAE Cycle, personally reached out to me. He genuinely wanted to know how he could make things right on behalf of the company. At first, I was hesitant and skeptical, but Carl assured me that he would do everything he could to resolve the situation — and he absolutely delivered on that promise. I recently received the hybrid bike I purchased from UAE Cycle, and it arrived in excellent condition after being fully serviced by Mr. Alim, their mechanic. Alim's work is truly impressive — he's meticulous, detail-oriented, and clearly passionate about what he does. He managed to fix every issue I had with the bike, and now it rides perfectly. I also want to thank Mr. Ihodi, who handled the pick-up and delivery of my bike. He was punctual, respectful, and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. Thanks to Carl, Alim, and Ihodi, UAE Cycle turned my bad experience into a great one. They didn’t just say sorry — they took action, kept their promises, and made sure I felt heard and valued. And to the UAE Cycle management, thank you for not turning a blind eye to my concerns and for allowing your team to step up. Because of this, I’m happy to update my review from 1 star to 5 stars. This is how customer service should be done.
This shop is really good. The bikes are all good quality and Kashif is really helpful he gave me all the information about what bike will fit for me highly recommended!👍👍👍
Worst customer experience,after complaining the first time about the strange sound coming from the tire, they fixed it , but because ive complained second time about the brake , ive been shouted at by an employee saying “if you want a refund we give you refund , this is not professional bike” he was extremely rude and disrespectful
Really disappointed
Worst service I bought a road bike from them 6 months ago; after two days, the pedals fell in the middle of the road (Alhamdulillah, nothing happened to me), and when I asked them about this, they gave no proper reply.
Later, when I bought cycling shoes and cleats, they fixed them in an unprofessional way (which I came to know during my visit to another bike showroom during the replacement of the old cleats, which were fixed by Upten bikes).
Finally, one time I went for bike basic service. It was the worst service I've ever seen. They just cleaned the chain, lubed it, and took the full amount, even though my whole bike was dirty. The basic service includes a full bike wash, which is mentioned on their website.
I am not happy with all these incidents. Worst Filipino mechanic and sales person ever. You guys are not providing things for free.
