Nightmare situation,

I gave them my car for a very simple fuel pump replacement, instead of getting updates on the process, complete silence, unless i call multiple times and whatsapp message, ~10 days passed, they couldn’t find a pump for me, so i went and i got a used fuel pump myself in a couple of hours same day and gave it to them to install, while watching the install, noticed one of the mechanics sprayed a bunch of fuel in my intake manifold to start the car up, sadly that ignited and backfired in my intake system because of the excess fuel he sprayed, now we all were startled by the backfire sound, so i asked the mechanics what happened they said its normal, i was skeptical because it didn’t sound normal at all, sounded like a muffled bang, but its not uncommon for cars to make sounds when trying to start out of fuel, so i let it go, anyways car started up after many attempts with the new fuel pump, so they drained and ruined my battery because they didn’t prime the pump correctly, so car took lots of attempts to start.

1 day after, car started misfiring on all cylinders, so i did normal diagnostics (spark plugs, injectors, coils) all was fine, they were all new anyways, so me and another garage turned to the dusty used fuel pump, thought its used so might as well get a new one, so i ordered a new one from abroad for ~2000 AED, that didn’t fix the issue, i got a smoke test for leaks no issues found, replaced crank sensor no issues there too, finally i remembered the backfire that happened and that they told me its normal, i requested mechanics to disassemble my intake system all of it, and we found what looks like damage to the Throttle body, Vacuum lines, Check valves, and we suspect the Intake manifold might have got warped too, replaced all above parts car now runs perfectly fine.

All in all, this garage without a doubt damaged my car, it was stopped for 2 months because of them and their negligence, i paid over 5000 AED in bills to diagnose and fix the car, not including the money spent on renting a car and using transportation for 2 months, what did i get? Not even an apology, when speaking to the garage after the incident, they told me they acted to surprised and confused, almost as if i’m speaking another language they also said “we fixed your car the same way we fix other cars like corvettes”, “its been 50 days should’ve came earlier” at the end they said they will investigate and come back to me, i received 0 updates for over a month now, so i consider this a closed case.

I would not recommend this garage to anyone.

not contactable, always no response when you give your car to them. Your messages will be always ignored, phone calls is the same. Very tiring of communication with them.

the owner is rude, charges high price. I suggest a different garage....
