Original review: I was recommended this place by a previous customer. While i understand that they have a highly reputable and experienced mechanic in Mr Narayan, i must say i would not bring your car here if you care about any form of customer service. The car has been with them for 4 full days for a relatively minor problem (not always starting first time but always starts) and it has still not been solved. I was informed it has potentially an issue with the spark plugs. in 4 days, thats it. I also have been chasing them on a daily basis on the prices and updates but they have been extremely reluctant to provide me with any. I was also pressured to pay in advance, AED 1500!? I was not told what this cost was going to cover. I find this type of behaviour extremely audacious. I have no doubt that they will eventually return the car to me and Mr Narayan seems to be a good hearted owner however the rest of my experience has left a lot to be desired. 3/5 is a fair review for now but this may decrease if i am not satisfied with the results. Update: it’s been 5 days and still no word on when the car will be returned or the work will be completed. They hung up on me when I called the office this morning and when I called back I was told it would be “2 minutes” to get a call back. Their clocks must be broken because it’s been roughly 8 hours. Update 2: The car has now been with Al Manza for 13 days. I have had to personally visit the garage every morning this week to make sure work is getting done on the car. So far it has had an oil change, brake fluid top up, and 7 pieces of trim painted grey. The car has grease marks all in the interior carpet, only 30% of the interior painting has been done, the car has never been test driven. Their initial inspection had 8 items that needed to be fixed. So far none of those areas have been worked on. I rarely get an answer to my calls and questions. I still have not been quoted a full price. I am dropping the score to 2 stars. Out of respect to the owner who is seems to care about his job, reputation and customers. Only come here if you have major mechanical works needing to be done. And expect to leave the car for over 30 days.
