Customer Sentiment:
Overall customer sentiment appears mixed, leaning towards positive based on the high volume of reviews (13278) and a respectable average rating (4.3 out of 5). Many customers express satisfaction with the product range, store environment, and the helpfulness of some staff members. However, a significant minority of reviews highlight negative experiences related to customer service, pricing, and repair policies, indicating areas for improvement.
Service Quality:
Service quality is inconsistent. Positive feedback frequently mentions knowledgeable and helpful staff, efficient service for purchases, and valuable free training sessions. Conversely, negative reviews detail instances of rude or dismissive staff behavior, perceived discriminatory practices regarding seating areas, and frustrating experiences with repair services and warranty claims. The handling of exchanges and the clarity of repair costs are specific areas of concern.
Common Themes:
Recurring positive themes include the impressive store layout, the availability of hands-on product demos, the scenic views from the store, and the value of the free training workshops. Negative themes consistently revolve around perceived high pricing compared to competitors, issues with tax-free options, and particularly concerning experiences with staff attitude and the handling of repairs and warranty issues, which some customers feel are designed to encourage new purchases rather than repairs.
Final Assessment:
Based on the provided reviews and overall data, the business demonstrates strengths in product availability, store experience, and educational offerings. However, the inconsistency in customer service quality, particularly concerning staff attitude and repair policies, represents a significant weakness. While the high volume of reviews and above-average rating suggest a generally positive perception, the recurring negative feedback on specific service aspects indicates that the business does not consistently deliver high-quality and reliable service across all customer interactions. Addressing staff training and refining repair and warranty processes are crucial steps to improve overall customer satisfaction and ensure a consistently positive experience.
"Stopped by the Apple Store at Dubai Mall last week to pick up the iPhone Pro Max. The price was the same as Jumbo on the first floor, but unlike Jumbo, Apple doesn’t offer a tax-free bill, so I’m giving it 4 stars. That said, don’t miss the breathtaking Burj Khalifa view right behind the store – it’s unreal, as you can see in the pics and video! The store itself is pretty impressive too!
First of all i am big fan and user of apple since long time and i always used to hear that apple very smart when it comes to repair or her products they reduce the resolution of camera to make you buy new iphone or the cost of the repair they increase close to new product, but i didn’t really believed it till today!!!
My AirPods only one of them has issue why i was offered i need to pay 250+ aed on each one of them!! To be replaced!!! Total will around 500+ which is the cost of new one!!
Dont tell me apple didn’t think about this or they missed it!! It cannot be
What kind of after service is this ?? This is pure commercial purpose !! Extremely disappointed with apple for a first time
I had one of the worst experiences yesterday at the Apple Store in Dubai Mall around 8:00 PM. We visited the store to exchange an iPhone we had recently purchased because we didn’t really like the color.
Unfortunately, we were attended by a salesperson named Eenaz, and let me just say – the experience was absolutely pathetic. His attitude was shocking for someone representing such a prestigious brand like Apple. As customers, we have every right to ask questions and inquire about prices or discounts offered by other stores. However, when we asked Eenaz how other stores offer better prices, his response left us speechless:
“Bro, if you want, I will refund the money and you can go buy it from there.”
These were his exact words — rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional.
Not just that, his entire attitude towards us was filled with arrogance. He clearly didn’t want to assist us — probably because we were there for an exchange and not a new purchase. But news flash: we bought the iPhone from their very store!
I myself work in the customer service industry, and I can tell you that behavior like this is completely unacceptable. A sales associate should never make a customer feel like they are a burden.
Such a disappointing and disgusting experience. Absolutely not expected from Apple.
Apple Dubai Mall team – you really need to train your staff better. People like Eenaz ruin the entire customer experience.
I reach the first floor it was very crowded stayed on the line for 10 minutes then one employee came to ask us what service we need he told me that I have to visit the down floor Apple shop I went there the customer service lady was very helpful I got the item I want within 5 minutes thanks a lot Miss Sammie I hope there was some one to assist next to the entrance so we won’t waste time on the line or in a wrong shop branch
I visited the Apple Store at Dubai Mall today to purchase a MacBook, but unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. While waiting for my bill, I was seated on a couch when a staff member approached me and insisted that the seating area was exclusive for VIP customers ONLY and asked me to wait outside instead. However, I noticed that another customer—a lady seated next to me—was not asked to move, which raises serious concerns about the criteria used to identify VIP customers.
I cannot help but question whether this treatment was based on my nationality, as I am from the Philippines. If that is the case, it is highly unethical and discriminatory. I expected a company like Apple to uphold high standards of customer service, yet this experience left me feeling disrespected and unwelcome.
I urge you to review your staff’s behavior and ensure that all customers are treated with fairness and respect. This kind of treatment is unacceptable, and I hope you take this matter seriously.
Large Apple Store selling everything you would expect. Usual hands on demo products as well as Genius Bar. Through the store there is a balcony where you can stand outside to get great views of the fountains.
Severely overpriced, as expected, it is in the heart of Dubai. You can find almost everything that this mall offers for 30-40% cheaper outside. I guess this Mall only has the attraction value for being in the city center and close to other popular attractions. Once you’re in it, you can also try the sky deck for viewing the city from high above. That might be worth your time and money once.
Subject: Formal Complaint: Unacceptable Service and Negligence
I am beyond frustrated with the appalling service I received regarding an issue with my mobile device.
The camera on my phone has a clear software issue, yet your staff, without any valid basis, insisted it was a physical problem caused by a laser. The representative even had the audacity to say:
“It’s science, it’s a physical damage.”
This claim is utterly ridiculous, as my phone has never been exposed to any laser.
To make matters worse, despite the device being under warranty, I was told I would need to pay for the service. This is an unacceptable attempt to shirk responsibility and exploit customers.
I will make public this situation in the Social Media and Consumer Protection office.
Today, I bought the Apple Watch Ultra 2 and the AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation from the Apple Store in Dubai Mall, and the experience was excellent. The staff were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, guiding me through the features of both products. The Apple Watch Ultra 2 is sleek, powerful, and packed with features, perfect for my needs. The AirPods 4 are amazing, especially with the free Active Noise Cancellation feature, which makes listening to music a joy. Despite the store being busy, the service was fast, and I didn’t have to wait long. The staff made the whole process smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend visiting this store for your next Apple purchase.
Visiting the [Apple Store , Dubai mall is always an exciting experience, especially for those who appreciate Apple products and innovative technology. One of the standout features of this store is its commitment to customer education, offering free training sessions that help users maximize the potential of their devices. Yesterday, I attended a portrait photography workshop, and I must say, it was an incredibly insightful session. The trainers were highly professional, knowledgeable, and made learning both engaging and easy. The session was well-structured, beginning with a 30-minute theory lesson on using Apple’s portrait features, followed by a hands-on outdoor segment where participants practiced capturing professional-quality photos. The practical approach helped me quickly grasp the techniques and apply them effectively. Booking a training session is simple and convenient. By checking the schedule online and registering for free, anyone can access these valuable learning opportunities. Whether you want to enhance your photography skills, explore creative tools, or better understand Apple’s ecosystem, these sessions provide an excellent platform for personal and professional growth. Overall, it is more than just a retail space—it’s an interactive hub where technology meets education, making it a must-visit destination for Apple enthusiasts and learners alike.
