I have had lots of work done from Maha Electronics and have always been very happy with their service. Their service is always timely and with a decent price.
I recently had my iPhone screen replaced here but the experience was disappointing. A few days after the repair, I noticed that the left corner of the screen was dim. When I returned to the shop, the manager immediately insisted it was a backlight issue, while the original technician who worked on my phone remained silent. To test their claim, they installed a new screen, and it was clear there was no backlight issue—confirming that the first screen they installed was faulty. However, instead of taking full responsibility, they insisted on charging me an AED 80 service fee just to replace their own defective part. Considering the screen itself cost AED 200, this was an unfair charge, nearly half the price of the repair. I pointed out that this was unethical and likely not in line with fair business practices, but the manager was extremely rude and refused to waive the fee. In the end, I had no choice but to pay. While the technician was polite and professional, the way the manager handled the situation was unacceptable. I would advise others to be cautious when dealing with this shop. Make sure you clarify their warranty policy upfront, as they may charge extra even if the issue is due to their own faulty parts. Customer service and accountability are just as important as the repair itself, and unfortunately, my experience here was disappointing.
In this age of waste, my advice is don't throw your broken electricals away, before checking with the Maha team first...they always try to find a cost effective fix with a smile.
