Highly Professional Service – Strongly Recommended! I recently had an accident, and my car covered by full insurance, was referred to KM Workshop in Rashidiya for repairs. From the very beginning, the experience was smooth and professional. Mr. Suyra quickly assessed the damage (including the front grill, chrome plating, and paintwork) and secured insurance approval within a day. Special thanks to Mr. Akbar, the workshop supervisor, who took exceptional care of my car. His professionalism and dedication impressed me so much that I decided to proceed with several additional services through him. I got all four tyres replaced, wheel alignment done, complete interior and exterior detailing, and both front and rear brake pads replaced with genuine parts. Now, my car looks and feels like it's fresh out of the showroom! KM Workshop truly stands out for their high-quality workmanship, reasonable pricing for both parts and labour, and excellent customer service. I had an excellent experience with MR. SURYA of KM Garage. He was professional and attentive to my concerns. He explained to me the process of fixing my car and gave me a time frame when it will be fixed. But I was very impressed that I got my car ahead of scheduled delivery and I am grateful that MR. Incompetence; Extreme Delays; Poor customer service; Had to do the service incharge's job myself for a week
TL;DR;
1. Vehicle kept for 55+ days with 4 extensions after receiving insurance approval for dent repair and painting of backside
2. Service in-charge gave up all responsibility of the vehicle during final leg of repair; I did his work for him
3. Visited garage 5 times and spent over 10+ hours within the final week since no-one was following up on the work
4. Had to visit 4 times on second last day and the vehicle was still not ready by EOD
5. Technicians and foremen lost vehicle and key on last day, but thankfully, the vehicle had a GPS tag installed and I had to walk them to the car
6. Spent 3 hours at the garage to get the vehicle out somehow on the final day
7. Vehicle brakelights still not working after repair (they told us they will fix it, but it could take anywhere from 1 hour to several days) and now have to do further repair at our partner garage
We had given our company vehicle for repair at KM Garage, Rashidiya on 23/03/2024. Insurance approval and LPO for repair was issued on 07/04/2024.
The damage to the vehicle is as shown in the photographs. Only dentwork and painting was to be done. After insurance approval, the garage informed us that the vehicle will be ready on 15/05/2024, 37 days later. It seemed excessive, but given the number of cars being sent to the garage, we accepted the deadline.
The vehicle was not ready on 16/04/2024, the garage asked us to wait till 21/05/2024. On 22/05/2024, I personally visited the garage to inspect the vehicle. The vehicle was not available at the garage, but Mr. Wasim informed me that they will take another 9 days to complete repair and give us the vehicle on 31/05/2024.
We waited for 3 days, and I visited the garage on 25/05/2024 to inspect the progress and the car was still not available there. Since 25/05/2024, I visited the garage 5-6 times over the course of a week, and spent over 10 hours at the garage myself to ensure the repair was carried out.
I have met with Mr. Prateek (service incharge), Mr. Wasim, Mr. Ravi, Mr. Hyder, Mr. Babu and the owner of the garage. I had to visit the garage 5 times and and spend an hour each time, asking them to bring the car from the parking lot, the next day to bring the car into the garage and the next day to ensure painting was done. They finally promised delivery on Saturday 01.06.2024, when I sent my driver to pick up the vehicle. They sent the driver out to look for the vehicle in one of the parking lots in Umm Ramool.
On 02.06.2024, I had to visit the garage 3 times at 11:00 AM, at 1:00 PM and finally at 3:00 PM when the vehicle was brought from the parking lot. The fitting of the bumper and lights were still not completed despite me waiting at the garage from 5:00 PM. Knowing it will not be done by EOD, I told them I will collect the vehicle on 03.06.2024.
And the cherry on the cake, the technicians could not find the keys, nor the vehicle at 2:00 PM on 03.06.2024. They spent one hour looking for it, before informing me that they don't know where the vehicle is. Thankfully we had GPS installed on the vehicle and I walked them to where the vehicle was parked.
The dent repair and painting was done, the vehicle brakelights and reverse lights were however not working. They told us it might take anywhere from 1 hour to several days to find the fault and get it repaired. I was absolutely fed up with leaving my vehicle there, so we reluctantly took the vehicle and took it to a partner garage.
KM garage has the worst customer service and garage service. My car was sent by the insurance to fix bumbs from hail storm. The car has been there for over 4 months, whenever we call they dont pick up. After eventually chasing them and receiving the car, the front window glass is cracked, the hand break is broken, the top atenna is also broken. The only had to repair the bumps outside the car & paint it. The painting is very unclean and random! KM is super unprofessional!!
Surya did an excellent job with my car. He repaired it so well that it feels brand new. Not only did he handle the technical work perfectly, but he also completed everything on time. The service provided was exceptional. I was assisted by Mr.Ravi, who received my vehicle and promptly contacted me once the service was completed. Remarkably, this occurred even before the time he had initially promised, which is truly impressive. I highly recommend Mr.Ravi for the great service.
To begin, I would like to express my gratitude to a few individuals.
when my car was taken 6 months to repair, i agreed because of flood issues,
but now i find some parts are stolen and changed, like the car logo on the inner hood and the hood arms i deliverd it with perfect condition some one replaced with other damaged arms .
Your car is not safe with them, and you must photograph all parts of your car before handing it over to them for review upon receipt.
In the end, God is sufficient for me, and He is the best Disposer of affairs.
To KM Garage Management,
There are some Service Advisors not doing their work properly. They don’t know the garage works and KM Garage paying them for just time pass . We received our car many pending works and KM Garage advisor have lot of excuses. Finally someone helped us get the car but still we have go to Professional Garage to match the paint. Who’s mixing the paint, he doesn’t know how to do!!!. But we are very happy to Polisher , he did his job properly. We suggest him to search new job out side Professional Garage. Getting bad comments from customers is very easy , but to get the good comments KM Garage to provide at least 80% job properly.
What a bad service and experience from KM, they are experts only in two things. Experts in silicone fillings and experts in screwing. My new model tesla was handed to them to change the front bumper and after some time i discovered that all the bumper was filled in silicone and was full of screws. What a shame
